Following the tragic Grenfell Tower disaster in 2017, the National Fire Chiefs Council recommended the use of trained personnel to patrol affected buildings and act as a first line of defence by monitoring for signs of fire.
Working in line with NFCC guidance, IPM’s trained waking watch staff monitor buildings around the clock, raise the alarm, contact the Fire Service and help safely evacuate residents, including vulnerable and elderly residents, in the event of an emergency.
